Dariel Alvarez, outfielder, played in Cuba from 2006 through 2011. He finished his career there with a .292 batting average. He signed with the Baltimore Orioles in July, 2013.

Alvarez played in the Orioles' minor league system from 2013 through 2016.

Alvarez joined the Orioles for 12 games in 2015. He hit his first major league home run on September 11th. He spent most of the 2016 season in the minors, playing in just 2 games with the Orioles.

The Orioles released Alvarez on April 6, 2017. He re-signed with the Orioles on a minor league contract on April 11th. He didn't play professional baseball in 2017 and 2018. He played in the Mexican League in 2019.

Alvarez played in the Mexican Pacific Winter League in 2020. He played in Japan, the Mexican Pacific Winter League, and the Caribbean Series in 2021.
