Greg Mahle, relief pitcher, was signed by the Los Angeles Angels in 2014. He pitched in the Angels' minor league system in 2014 and 2015. In 75 games, he pitched 95.1 innings and he had a 4-6 record, 27 saves, 116 strikeouts to 29 walks, and a 2.97 ERA.

In 2016, Mahle's time was split between the Angels and the minors. He pitched 18.1 innings in 24 games with the Angels and he had a 5.40 ERA.

Mahle spent the 2017 through 2019 seasons in the minors.

The Angels released Mahle on October 15, 2019. He played with an independent league team and in the Mexican Pacific Winter League in 2020.

Mahle played in the Mexican League in 2021.

Mahle's brother Tyler plays in the Cincinnati Reds' minor league system.
