Hyun Soo Kim, outfielder, played professional baseball in Korea from 2006 through 2015. He won the KBO batting title in 2008 and he was the league's hits leader in both 2008 and 2009. He also excelled defensively, winning three Gold Gloves (2008-2010).

Kim signed a two-year, $7 million contract with the Baltimore Orioles on December 23, 2015. He finished the 2016 season with 92 hits, 16 doubles, and a .302 batting average in 95 games. In the postseason, he had no hits in 4 at-bats in 1 game.

The Orioles traded Kim to the Philadelphia Phillies on July 29, 2017. He finished the 2017 season with 49 hits and a .231 batting average in 56 games with the Orioles and 40 games with the Phillies. Defensively, he played 55 games in left field and 11 games in right field.

Kim became a free agent on November 2, 2017. He played in the Korean Baseball Organization from 2018 through 2021.
