Jeremy Hazelbaker, outfielder, was first drafted by the Boston Red Sox in 2009. After playing in Boston's minor league system for four years, he was traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers on October 23, 2013. He then played in the Dodgers' minor league system until May, 2015, when he signed a minor league contract with the St. Louis Cardinals. He finished the season in the minors.
As a minor league player from 2009 through 2015, Hazelbaker batted .264 with 723 hits, 135 doubles, 239 stolen bases, 359 RBIs, and 789 strikeouts to 295 walks in 751 games. Defensively, as an outfielder, he played 182 games in left field, 171 games in center field, and 322 games in right field and he made 1,220 putouts and 13 errors.
In 2016, his first season in the major leagues, Hazelbaker played in 114 games with the Cardinals. He batted .235 with 47 hits, 7 doubles, 3 triples, 12 home runs, 64 strikeouts to 18 walks, and 28 RBIs. Defensively, as an outfielder, he made 79 putouts and 4 errors in 52 games in left field, 21 games in center field, and 6 games in right field.
Hazelbaker was claimed off waivers by the Arizona Diamondbacks on November 4, 2016. He played in just 41 games with the Diamondbacks in 2017, spending the rest of the season in the minors. He didn't play in the postseason.
The Diamondbacks traded Hazelbaker to the Tampa Bay Rays on April 10, 2018. The Rays traded him to the Minnesota Twins on July 19, 2018. He spent the 2018 season in the minors.
Hazelbaker became a free agent on November 2, 2018. He played in the Korean Baseball Organization and in the American Association in 2019. He hasn't played professional baseball since 2019.
