Junior Guerra, pitcher, was first signed by the Atlanta Braves in October, 2001. After five years in the Braves' minor league system, he was released on March 31, 2007. He didn't play professional baseball in 2007.

Guerra signed with the New York Mets in October, 2007. He was released in June, 2009. From 2009 through 2014, he played in the Venezuelan Winter League, the Mexican League, and the American Association independent league. On October 28, 2014, he signed with the Chicago White Sox.
