Justin Miller, relief pitcher, was first drafted by the Colorado Rockies in 2006 but he didn't sign with them. Two years later, he was drafted by the Texas Rangers. He stayed with the Rangers through the 2012 season. On September 18, 2013, he signed with the Detroit Tigers.

Miller pitched in eight games with the Tigers in 2014. He had a 5.11 ERA in 12.1 innings. He also pitched in 38 games in the minors in 2014.

Miller signed with the Rockies on November 19, 2014. He split his time in 2015 between the minors and the Rockies, pitching in 31 games in the minors and in 34 games with the Rockies. In 33.1 innings with Colorado, he had a 4.05 ERA and he struck out 38 batters and walked 11.

In 2016, Miller pitched in 40 games with the Rockies. He had a 5.70 ERA, 1 win and 1 loss, and 45 strikeouts to 20 walks in 42.2 innings.

Miller became a free agent on October 13, 2016. A month later, on November 8th, he signed a minor league contract with the Los Angeles Angels. He was released on July 16, 2017. He spent the 2017 season in the minors.

Miller signed with the Washington Nationals on January 12, 2018. He finished the 2018 season with 7 wins and 1 loss, 2 saves, 60 strikeouts to 17 walks, and a 3.61 ERA in 52.1 innings in 51 games.

Miller spent time on the DL in 2019 with lower back strain and with a rotator cuff strain. He pitched just 15.2 innings in 17 games with the Nationals. He didn't pitch in the postseason.

Miller became a free agent on September 30,2019. He signed a minor league contract with the Toronto Blue Jays on December 1st. He didn't play professional baseball in 2020.

The Blue Jays traded Miller to the Cincinnati Reds on September 16, 2020. He became a free agent on November 2nd. He returned to the Nationals on a minor league contract on February 23, 2021. He was claimed off waivers by the St. Louis Cardinals on July 2nd. He spent time on the IL in 2021. He finished the season with 1 win and no losses, 1 save, and a 6.16 ERA in 19.0 innings in 5 games with the Nationals and 18 games with the Cardinals. He didn't pitch in the postseason.

Miller became a free agent on October 27, 2021. He signed with the independent Atlantic League on April 21, 2022, and he was released shortly afterwards, on May 2nd.
