Kaleb Cowart, infielder for the New York Yankees, was a top player in high school before being drafted by the Los Angeles Angels in 2010. He played in the Angels' minor league system from 2010 through most of 2016.

Cowart joined the Angels for 34 games in 2015. He had just eight hits in those games. He spent most of the 2016 season again in the minors. In 31 games with the Angels, he batted .176.

Cowart spent most of the 2017 season again in the minors, playing in just 50 games with the Angels.

In 2018, Cowart played in 47 games with the Angels and he batted .134. He also played in 64 games in the minors.

The Seattle Mariners claimed Cowart off waivers on December 10, 2018. He was claimed off waivers again on January 24, 2019, by the Detroit Tigers. He returned to the Angels on February 23rd, when he was once more claimed off waivers. He spent most of the 2019 season in the minors, playing in just 9 games with the Angels.

Cowart became a free agent on October 28, 2019. He signed a minor league contract with the Yankees on December 20th. He didn't play in 2020. He spent the 2021 season on the IL.
