Kevin Siegrist, relief pitcher, was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in 2008. He pitched in the Cardinals' minor league system from 2008 through part of 2013.
Siegrist joined the Cardinals for 45 games in 2013. In 39.2 innings, he had a career low ERA of 0.45. The following season, he had a forearm injury that limited his playing time to 37 games. He had a 6.82 ERA in 30.1 innings. In 2015, he was a full-time pitcher in the Cardinals' bullpen. He pitched 74.2 innings in 81 games and he had a 2.17 ERA and 90 strikeouts to 34 walks.
In 2016, Siegrist had a 2.77 ERA in 67 games. He finished the season with 6 wins to 3 losses,3 saves, and 66 strikeouts to 26 walks in 61.2 innings.
