Mac Williamson, outfielder, was first drafted by the Boston Red Sox in 2011 but he opted instead to attend Wake Forest University. A year later, he was drafted by the San Francisco Giants. He played in the Giants' minor league system from 2012 through 2015.

Williamson joined the Giants for just 10 games in 2015. He played in 54 games in 2016 and he batted .223 with 25 hits. Defensively, he played 13 games in left field and 23 games in right field. He didn't play in the postseason.

Williamson spent most of the 2017 season in the minors, playing in just 28 games with the Giants. He spent time on the DL in 2018 with a concussion. He played in 28 games with the Giants and in 52 games in the minors.

The Giants designated Williamson for assignment on May 25, 2019, and he elected free agency on June 1. He signed a minor league contract with the Seattle Mariners on June 4. He was released on July 17th. He finished the season with 20 hits and a .156 batting average in 15 games with the Giants and 25 games with the Mariners.

Williamson signed a minor league contract with the Washington Nationals on February 12, 2020. He was released on May 29th. He didn't play professional baseball in 2020 and 2021.
