Reymond Fuentes, outfielder, was first drafted in 2009 by the Boston Red Sox. He was traded to the San Diego Padres in December, 2010. The Kansas City Royals acquired him in a trade on November 20, 2014.

Fuentes played in the minor leagues from 2009 through 2015, playing in the major leagues for only 23 games with the Padres in 2013.

In 2016, Fuentes spent most of his time in the minors, playing in just 13 games with the Royals. The Royals released him on September 14, 2016.

Fuentes signed a minor league contract with the Arizona Diamondbacks on January 10, 2017. He played in 64 games with the Diamondbacks in 2017. He finished the season with 32 hits and a .235 batting average. Defensively, he played 9 games in left field, 41 games in center field, and 4 games in right field. He didn't play in the postseason.

Fuentes spent the 2018 season on the DL and in the minors.

Fuentes became a free agent on November 2, 2018. He played in the independent Atlantic League in 2019.

Fuentes played in the Puerto Rican Winter League and the Caribbean Series in 2020.

Personal Life

Fuentes is a cousin of Carlos Beltran.
