Ryan Dull, relief pitcher, was drafted by the Oakland Athletics in 2012. He pitched in the minor leagues from 2012 through most of 2015. In 153 games, he pitched 209.0 innings and he had 15 wins to 13 losses, 42 saves, 259 strikeouts to 49 walks, and a 2.07 ERA.

Dull joined the Athletics for 13 games in 2015. He pitched in 17.0 innings and he had a 4.24 ERA.

In 2016, Dull had a 2.42 ERA in 70 games with the Athletics. He finished the season with 5 wins and 5 losses, 3 saves, and 73 strikeouts to 15 walks in 74.1 innings.

Dull finished the 2017 season with 2 wins and 2 losses, 45 strikeouts to 16 walks, and a 5.14 ERA in 42.0 innings in 49 games.

Dull split his time in 2018 between the major leagues and the minors. In 28 games with the Athletics, he had a 4.26 ERA in 25.1 innings. He also pitched 28.0 innings in 23 games in the minors.

The San Francisco Giants claimed Dull off waivers on August 5, 2019. He was claimed off waivers by the New York Yankees on August 14th. He was again claimed off waivers on September 18th, this time by the Toronto Blue Jays. In 7 games with the Athletics, 3 games with the Yankees, and 1 game with Toronto, he had a 12.79 ERA.

The Blue Jays released Dull on November 20, 2019. He rejoined them on a minor league contract on January 20, 2020. He didn't play professional baseball in 2020.

Dull elected free agency on November 2, 2020. He signed a minor league contract with the Seattle Mariners on May 4, 2021. He was released on August 12th. He then signed with a team in the independent Atlantic League. He played only in the minors while with the Mariners.
