Ryan Weber, relief pitcher for the New York Yankees, was first drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies in 2008 but he opted instead for college. A year later, he signed with the Atlanta Braves. He played in the Braves' minor league system from 2009 through most of 2015, both as a starter and as a relief pitcher. In 177 games, he had a 31-33 win-loss record, 421 strikeouts to 92 walks, and a 3.89 ERA in 576.0 innings.

Weber joined the Braves' starting rotation for five games in 2015. He had a 0-3 record, 19 strikeouts to 6 walks, and a 4.76 ERA in 28.1 innings.
