Socrates Brito, outfielder, was signed by the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2010. He played in the Diamondbacks' minor league system from 2010 through most of 2016.

Brito joined the Diamondbacks for 18 games in 2015. He had 10 hits, including 3 doubles and 1 triple. In 2016, he batted .179 in 40 games with the Diamondbacks. He also played in 77 games in the minors.

Brito played only in the minors in 2017. He played in 24 games with the Diamondbacks in 2018. He spent the rest of the season in the minors.

The San Diego Padres claimed Brito off waivers on March 27, 2019. He was traded to the Toronto Blue Jays on April 2nd. He spent most of the 2019 season in the minors, playing in just 17 games with the Blue Jays.

Brito became a free agent on November 4, 2019. He signed a minor league contract with the Pittsburgh Pirates on December 17th. He played only in the Dominican Winter League in 2020.

Brito elected free agency on November 2, 2020. He signed a minor league contract with the New York Yankees on January 6, 2021. He played in the minors and in the Dominican Winter League in 2021.

Brito became a free agent on November 7, 2021.
