Steven Moya, outfielder, signed with the Detroit Tigers in 2008. He played in the Tigers' minor league system from 2009 through most of 2016. He missed part of the 2012 season due to Tommy John surgery. He had his best year in 2014, when he was named the Eastern League MVP and the Eastern League All-Star Game MVP.

Moya played in 11 games with the Tigers in 2014 and in 9 games in 2015. He batted .254 in 31 games with the Tigers in 2016. He also played in 97 games in the minors.

Moya spent the entire 2017 season in the minors.

Moya became a free agent on November 6, 2017. He played in Japan from 2018 through 2021.
