Steven Wright, starting pitcher for the Boston Red Sox, was first drafted by the San Diego Padres in 2003 but he didn't sign with them. Three years later, he signed with the Cleveland Indians. He was traded to the Red Sox on July 31, 2012. He played in the minor leagues from 2007 through part of 2015, joining the Red Sox for 4 games in 2013 and 6 games in 2014.
