Tyler Ladendorf, outfielder, was first drafted by the New York Yankees in 2006 but he opted instead for college. A year later, he was drafted by the San Francisco Giants and he again didn't sign. Finally, in 2008, he signed with the Minnesota Twins. After a year and a half in the Twins' minor league system, he was traded to the Oakland Athletics on July 31, 2009.

Ladendorf played in the minor leagues from 2008 through 2015. In 668 games, he batted .253 with 611 hits, 127 doubles, 273 RBIs, and 491 strikeouts to 240 walks. Defensively, he played 295 games at second base, 50 games at third base, and 239 games at shortstop and he made 1,597 assists, 363 double plays, 980 putouts, and 90 errors.

Ladendorf joined the Athletics for nine games in 2015. He split his time in 2016 between the Athletics and the minors. In 44 games with the Athletics, he batted just .083. Defensively, he played 30 games at second base, 3 games at third base, 1 game in center field, and 1 game in right field. He also pitched in one game.

Ladendorf became a free agent on November 7, 2016. He played in the minors for the International League in 2017.

Ladendorf signed a minor league contract with the Toronto Blue Jays on April 6, 2018. He spent time on the DL and in the minors in 2018.

Ladendorf became a free agent on November 2, 2018. He signed a minor league contract with the Tampa Bay Rays on July 26, 2019. He spent the 2019 season in the minors.

The Rays released Ladendorf on September 13, 2019. He played in the independent American Association in 2020.

Ladendorf signed a minor league contract with the Chicago Cubs on May 28, 2021. He spent most of the 2021 season on the IL and in the minors, playing in just 1 game with the Cubs.

Ladendorf became a free agent on November 7, 2021. He signed with a team in the independent Atlantic League on April 21, 2022.
