Aaron Altherr, outfielder, was drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies in 2009. He played in the Phillies' minor league system from 2009 through most of 2014, joining the Phillies for 2 games in 2014.

Altherr played in 39 games with the Phillies in 2015. He hit his first major league home run on August 19th. A month later, on September 25th, he hit an inside-the-park grand slam. He hit a second home run in the same game. He finished with 33 hits, 11 doubles, 4 triples, 5 home runs, 22 RBIs, and a .241 batting average. He also played in 111 games in the minors.

In 2016, Altherr played in 57 games with the Phillies, He had 40 hits, 23 RBIs, and a .202 batting average. Defensively, he played 20 games in left field, 10 games in center field, and 42 games in right field.

Altherr became a free agent on September 30, 2019. He played in the Korean Baseball Organization in 2020 and 2021.
