Alex Claudio, relief pitcher for the New York Mets, was drafted by the Texas Rangers in 2010. He pitched in their minor league system from 2010 through 2013.

Claudio pitched in 15 games with the Rangers in 2014. He had a 4.92 ERA in 12.1 innings. He also pitched 92.0 innings in 27 games in the minors. The following season, he pitched in 18 games with the Rangers and he finished with a 2.87 ERA. He also pitched in 29 games in the minors in 2015.
