Charlie Tilson, outfielder for the Chicago White Sox, was a top player in high school. In his senior year, he was named the Illinois Gatorade Baseball Player of the Year. He was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in 2011, and he played in their minor league system from 2011 through half of 2016.

Tilson was traded to the White Sox on July 31, 2016. In his first major league game on August 2nd, he pulled a hamstring and he needed surgery that ended the season for him.
