Daniel Wright, pitcher, was first drafted in 2013 by the Cincinnati Reds. He played in the Reds' minor league system from 2013 through 2015.

The Los Angeles Angels claimed Wright off waivers on September 4, 2016. He finished the 2016 season with 1 win to 5 losses, 21 strikeouts to 8 walks, and a 6.13 ERA in 4 games with the Reds (2 as a starting pitcher) and 5 games as a starting pitcher with the Angels. He also pitched 103.2 innings in 25 games in the minors (14 games as a starting pitcher).

Wright spent most of the 2017 season in the minors, pitching just 19.2 innings in 5 games with the Angels.

Wright became a free agent on October 13, 2017. He signed a minor league contract with the Cincinnati Reds on December 19, 2017. He spent the 2018 season in the minors.

Wright elected free agency on November 2, 2018. He hasn't played professional baseball since 2018.
