Danny Barnes, relief pitcher, was drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays in 2010. He played in the Blue Jays' minor league system from 2010 through part of 2016.

Barnes pitched in 12 games with the Blue Jays in 2016. He had a 3.95 ERA in 13.2 innings. He also pitched 61.1 innings in 41 games in the minors.

Barnes pitched in 60 games with the Blue Jays in 2017. He finished the season with 3 wins and 6 losses, 62 strikeouts to 24 walks, and a 3.55 ERA in 66.0 innings.
