Donnie Hart, relief pitcher, was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in 2013. He pitched in their minor league system from 2013 through 2015.

Hart pitched in 22 games with the Orioles in 2016. He had a 0.49 ERA in 18.1 innings. He also pitched in 40 games in the minors.

Hart finished the 2017 season with 2 wins and no losses, 29 strikeouts to 13 walks, and a 3.71 ERA in 43.2 innings in 51 games with the Orioles.

Hart spent most of the 2018 season in the minors. In 20 games with the Orioles, he had a 5.59 ERA in 19.1 innings.

The Los Angeles Dodgers claimed Hart off waivers on March 7, 2019. A month later, on April 4th, he was claimed off waivers by the Milwaukee Brewers. He was claimed off waivers again on August 3rd by the New York Mets. He spent most of the 2019 season in the minors, pitching in just 4 games with the Brewers and 1 game with the Mets.

Hart became a free agent on November 1, 2019. He signed a minor league contract with the Oakland Athletics on February 5, 2020. He didn't play professional baseball in 2020.

Hart elected free agency on November 2, 2020. He played in the independent Atlantic League and the American Association in 2021.
