Enny Romero, relief pitcher, signed with the Tampa Bay Rays in 2008. He pitched in their minor league system from 2008 through 2014, joining the Rays for just one game in 2013.

Romero pitched in 23 games with the Rays in 2015. He had a 5.10 ERA in 30.0 innings. He also pitched in 19 games in the minors.

In 2016, Romero spent time on the DL with back strain. He pitched in 52 games with the Rays and he finished with 2 wins and no losses, 1 save, 50 strikeouts to 28 walks, and a 5.91 ERA in 45.2 innings.

Romero was traded to the Washington Nationals on February 7, 2017. He finished the 2017 season with 2 wins and 4 losses, 2 saves, 65 strikeouts to 23 walks, and a 3.56 ERA in 55.2 innings in 53 games. He didn't pitch in the postseason.

The Pittsburgh Pirates claimed Romero off waivers on April 14, 2018. He was claimed off waivers by the Kansas City Royals on July 5, 2018. He elected free agency on July 24th. He spent time on the DL in 2018 with left shoulder impingement. In 2 games with the Nationals, 2 games with the Pirates, and 4 games with the Royals, he had a 12.60 ERA.

Romero played in Japan in 2019. He played in the Dominican Winter League in 2019 and 2020.

Romero signed a minor league contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers on January 14, 2021. He was released on April 4, 2021. He then played in Japan and in the Dominican Winter League.
