Evan Marshall, relief pitcher for the Seattle Mariners, was drafted by the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2011. He pitched in their minor league system from 2011 through 2013.

Marshall pitched in 57 games with the Diamondbacks in 2014. He finished the season with 4 wins to 4 losses, 54 strikeouts to 17 walks, and a 2.74 ERA in 49.1 innings. The following season, he spent time on the DL with a skull fracture after being hit in the head by a batted ball on August 7th. He finished the 2015 season with a 6.08 ERA in 13.1 innings in 13 games.

In 2016, Marshall again spent time on the DL. He finished the season with an 8.80 ERA in 15.1 innings in 15 games. He also played in 33 games in the minors.

The Mariners claimed Marshall off waivers on April 4, 2017.
