James Pazos, relief pitcher for the Seattle Mariners, was first drafted in 2009 by the Tampa Bay Rays but he opted instead to attend college. Three years later, he was drafted by the New York Yankees. He pitched in the Yankees' minor league system from 2012 through 2014.
Pazos spent most of the 2015 and 2016 seasons in the minors. In 2015, he pitched in 11 games with the Yankees and in 2016, he pitched just 3.1 innings in 7 games with them.
