Jandel Gustave, relief pitcher for the Milwaukee Brewers, was signed by the Houston Astros in May, 2010. From December 11, 2014, until April 3, 2015, he was with four teams. First, the Boston Red Sox acquired him in the 2014 Rule 5 draft on December 11, 2014. He was traded that day to the Kansas City Royals. On March 26, 2015, he was claimed off waivers by the San Diego Padres and on April 3rd, he was returned to the Astros.

Gustave played in the minor leagues from 2010 through part of 2016. He was both a starter and a reliever from 2010 through 2014 and only a reliever in 2015 and 2016.

Gustave pitched in 14 games of relief with the Astros in 2016. He had a 3.52 ERA in 15.1 innings. He also pitched in 47 games in the minors.

Gustave had Tommy John surgery in June, 2017. He pitched just 5.0 innings in 6 games with the Astros prior to his surgery. He spent the 2018 season recovering from the surgery.

Gustave became a free agent on October 30, 2018. He signed a minor league contract with the San Francisco Giants on February 13, 2019. He pitched 24.1 innings in 23 games with the Giants in 2019, and he had a 2.96 ERA. He also pitched 29.1 innings in 32 games in the minors.

The Giants released Gustave on August 9, 2020. He signed a minor league contract with the Pittsburgh Pirates on September 5th. He didn't play professional baseball in 2020.

Gustave was traded to the Brewers on June 25, 2021. He spent time on the IL in 2021. He finished the season with a 3.44 ERA in 18.1 innings in 14 games with the Brewers.
