Jayson Aquino, relief pitcher, was first signed by the Colorado Rockies on July 2, 2009. He pitched as a starting pitcher in the Rockies' minor league system from 2010 through 2014.

The Rockies traded Aquino to the Toronto Blue Jays on February 4, 2015. He was traded again on May 10, 2015, to the Pittsburgh Pirates. A third trade in 2015 was to the Cleveland Indians on July 29th. He spent the entire 2015 season in the minors.

Aquino was claimed off waivers by the St. Louis Cardinals on December 10, 2015. He was traded once again on April 7, 2016, this time to the Baltimore Orioles. He spent most of the 2016 season in the minors, pitching just 2.1 innings in 3 games with the Orioles.

Aquino spent most of the 2017 season in the minors, pitching just 13.1 innings in 4 games with the Orioles.

Aquino was released on June 19, 2018, after pitching in 12 games in the minors. He hasn't played professional baseball since 2018.
