Jesus Aguilar, infielder, signed with the Cleveland Indians in 2007. He played in the Indians' minor league system from 2008 through 2015.

Aguilar joined the Indians for 19 games in 2014. He had 4 hits and a .121 batting average. Defensively, he played 12 games at first base and 1 game at third base. He spent the rest of the season in the minors. He was in the minors for most of the next two seasons, joining the Indians for 7 games in 2015 and 9 games in 2016.

Aguilar was designated for assignment on January 26, 2017. The Milwaukee Brewers claimed him off waivers on February 2nd. He finished the 2017 season with 74 hits, 15 doubles, 16 home runs, 52 RBIs, 94 strikeouts to 25 walks, and a .265 batting average in 133 games. Defensively, as the Brewers' first baseman in 77 games, he made 44 assists, 65 double plays, 455 putouts, and 6 errors.

Aguilar finished the 2018 season with 135 hits, 25 doubles, 35 home runs, 108 RBIs, 143 strikeouts to 58 walks, and a .274 batting average in 149 games. Defensively, as a first baseman in 132 games, he made 86 assists, 92 double plays, 894 putouts, and 4 errors. In the postseason, he had 8 hits, 3 doubles, 2 home runs, and 5 RBIs in 37 at-bats in 10 games. He struck out 15 times and walked 3 times and he had a .216 batting average.

Aguilar was traded to the Tampa Bay Rays on July 31, 2019. He finished the 2019 season with 74 hits, 50 RBIs, 81 strikeouts to 43 walks, and a .236 batting average in 94 games with the Brewers and 37 games with the Rays. Defensively, as a first baseman in 75 games, he made 42 assists, 49 double plays, 504 putouts, and 4 errors. He didn't play in the postseason.

The Miami Marlins claimed Aguilar off waivers on December 2, 2019. He played in 51 games in 2020, and he finished the season with 52 hits, 10 doubles, 8 home runs, 34 RBIs, 40 strikeouts to 23 walks, and a .277 batting average. Defensively, he played 31 games at first base and 1 game at third base. He was the DH in 20 games. In the postseason, he batted .190 in 21 at-bats in 5 games.

Aguilar spent time on the IL in 2021. He finished the season with 117 hits, 23 doubles, 22 home runs, 93 RBIs, 93 strikeouts to 46 walks, and a .261 batting average in 131 games. Defensively, as a first baseman in 113 games, he made 83 assists, 94 double plays, 824 putouts, and 8 errors.

The Marlins released Aguilar on August 27, 2022. He signed a minor league contract with the Baltimore Orioles on August 31st.

Aguilar became a free agent on November 6, 2022. He signed with the Oakland Athletics on January 27, 2023. He was released on June 4th.
