Johan Camargo, infielder for the Kansas City Royals, was signed by the Atlanta Braves in July, 2010. He played in their minor league system from 2012 through 2016.

In 2017, Camargo played in 82 games with the Braves. He had 72 hits, 21 doubles, 27 RBIs, 51 strikeouts to 12 walks, and a .299 batting average. Defensively, he played 9 games at second base, 43 games at third base, 26 games at shortstop, and 1 game in left field.

Carmago had a good 2018 season, finishing with a .272 batting average in 134 games. He had 126 hits, 27 doubles, 19 home runs, 76 RBIs, and 108 strikeouts to 51 walks. Camargo elected free agency on October 6, 2022. He signed a minor league contract with the Royals on January 25, 2023.
