Juan Graterol, catcher for the Los Angeles Angels, was first signed by the Kansas City Royals in September, 2005. He played in the Royals' minor league system from 2006 through 2014.
Graterol became a free agent on November 4, 2014. Six days later, he signed with the New York Yankees. He played in the Yankees' minor league system in 2015.
Graterol became a free agent again on November 6, 2015. He signed with the Angels on January 12, 2016. He spent most of the 2016 season in the minors, joining the Angels for just nine games. He played in 68 games in the minor leagues.
The Cincinnati Reds claimed Graterol off waivers on November 28, 2016. A month later, on December 23rd, he was claimed off waivers by the Arizona Diamondbacks, but they designated him for assignment on January 13, 2017. He returned to the Angels on January 19th, when they claimed him off waivers. However, he didn't stay long with the Angels. He was claimed off waivers again on January 23rd, this time by the Toronto Blue Jays.
The Blue Jays designated Graterol for assignment on April 14, 2017. He was traded back to the Angels on April 18th.
