Manny Pina, catcher for the Milwaukee Brewers, first signed with the Texas Rangers in September, 2004. He played in the Rangers' minor league system from 2005 through 2009. He was traded to the Kansas City Royals on September 3, 2009, and he continued to play in the minor leagues through 2013, joining the Royals for just four games in 2011 and one game in 2012.

Pina became a free agent in November, 2013. He signed a minor league contract with the Seattle Mariners on January 17, 2014. He played in their minor league system until June 11, 2014, when he was traded to the Detroit Tigers. He then continued in the minors through 2015.

The Tigers traded Pina to the Brewers on December 10, 2015. He played in 33 games with the Brewers in 2016 and he had 18 hits and a .254 batting average. He also played in 63 games in the minors.
