Mason Williams, outfielder, was drafted by the New York Yankees in 2010. He played in the Yankees' minor league system from 2010 through 2014.

Williams played in eight games with the Yankees in 2015. A shoulder injury and season ending surgery shortened the season and his time with the Yankees.

Williams spent most of the 2017 season in the minors, playing in just 5 games with the Yankees.

Williams became a free agent on November 6, 2017. He signed a minor league contract with the Cincinnati Reds on November 17th. He played in 51 games with the Reds in 2018, and he batted .293. He also played in 87 games in the minors.

Personal Life

Williams' father played professional football with the New England Patriots. His great uncle, Walt Williams, played major league baseball from 1964 through 1975. He ended his major league career with two years in a Yankees' uniform.
