Mike Freeman, infielder for the Los Angeles Dodgers, was drafted twice, once in 2006 by the San Diego Padres and in 2009 by the Arizona Diamondbacks, before signing with the Diamondbacks in 2010. He played in the Diamondbacks' minor league system from 2010 through 2015.

The Seattle Mariners claimed Freeman off waivers on August 1, 2016. He played in 8 games with the Diamondbacks and 13 games with the Mariners in 2016 and he batted .227 with 5 hits. He also played in 114 games in the minors.
