Nefi Ogando, relief pitcher, first signed with the Boston Red Sox in 2010. He pitched in Boston's minor league system from 2010 through 2012.

The Red Sox traded Ogando to the Philadelphia Phillies on August 31, 2013. He continued pitching in the minors through most of 2015, pitching with the Phillies in just 4.0 innings in 4 games in 2015.

The Miami Marlins claimed Ogando off waivers on December 2, 2015. He pitched in 14 games with the Marlins in 2016 and he finished with a 2.30 ERA in 15.2 innings. He spent time on the DL with a right rib fracture, as well as pitching in 25 games in the minors.

Ogando was claimed off waivers by the Pittsburgh Pirates on December 23, 2016. He was designated for assignment on February 10, 2017. The Cincinnati Reds claimed him off waivers on February 14th. He spent the 2017 season in the minors.

Ogando became a free agent on November 6, 2017. He didn't play professional baseball in 2018. He played in the American Association in 2019. He played in the Puerto Rican Winter League in 2019 and 2020.

Ogando played in the independent Atlantic League in 2021.
