Patrick Kivlehan, outfielder, played football at Rutgers University for four years before switching to baseball. In 2012, he was drafted by the Seattle Mariners. He played in the Mariners' minor league system from 2012 through 2015.

Kivlehan was traded to the Texas Rangers on December 2, 2015. The Rangers designated him for assignment on May 23, 2016, and then traded him back to the Mariners on May 29th. He played only in the minor leagues for the Mariners and the Rangers in 2016.

The Mariners designated Kivlehan for assignment on August 1, 2016. Three days later, the San Diego Padres claimed him off waivers. After playing in just five games with the Padres, they designated him for assignment on September 21st. The Cincinnati Reds claimed him off waivers on September 28th. He then played in three games with the Reds.

Kivlehan played in 115 games with the Reds in 2017. He finished the season with 37 hits and a .208 batting average. Defensively, he played 12 games at first base, 7 games at third base, 11 games in left field, 4 games in center field, and 29 games in right field.

Kivlehan became a free agent on November 4, 2017. He signed a minor league contract with the New York Mets on May 9, 2018. He was traded to the Arizona Diamondbacks on September 6, 2018. He spent most of the 2018 season in the minors, playing in just nine games with the Diamondbacks.

Kivlehan became a free agent on October 11, 2018. He signed a minor league contract with the Pittsburgh Pirates on October 30th. He was traded to the Toronto Blue Jays on May 10, 2019. He spent the 2019 season in the minors.

The Blue Jays released Kivlehan on August 16, 2020. He didn't play professional baseball in 2020.

Kivlehan returned to the Padres on a minor league contract on February 26, 2021. He spent most of the 2021 season in the minors, playing in just five games with the Padres. He also played on the US Olympic team.

Kivlehan became a free agent on November 7, 2021. He signed a minor league contract with the Chicago White Sox on February 20, 2022. He was released on April 12th.
