Randall Delgado, relief pitcher, first signed with the Atlanta Braves in July, 2006. He pitched in the Braves' minor league system from 2007 through most of 2011.
Delgado pitched in seven games as a starting pitcher with the Braves in 2011. He had a 2.83 ERA in 35.0 innings. He also pitched 139.0 innings in 25 games in the minors. The following season, he pitched in 17 games as a starter and one game in relief with the Braves. He finished the 2012 season with 4 wins to 9 losses and a 4.37 ERA in 92.2 innings.
The Braves traded Delgado to the Arizona Diamondbacks on January 24, 2013. He pitched in 20 games with the Diamondbacks in 2013. He finished with a 4.26 ERA in a career high 116.1 innings.
The Diamondbacks moved Delgado to the bullpen in 2014. In 4 games as a starter and 43 games in relief, he had a 4.87 ERA in 77.2 innings. The following season, he pitched in only one game as a starter and in 63 games in relief. He finished the 2015 season wtih a 3.25 ERA in 72.0 innings.
In 2016, Delgado pitched only as a relief pitcher with the Diamondbacks. He finished the season with 5 wins to 2 losses, 68 strikeouts to 36 walks, and a 4.44 ERA in 75.0 innings.
Delgado finished the 2017 season with 1 win and 2 losses, 1 save, 60 strikeouts to 14 walks, and a 3.59 ERA in 62.2 innings in 5 games as a starter and 21 games of relief. He didn't pitch in the postseason.
The Diamondbacks released Delgado on July 31, 2018. They re-signed him to a minor league contract on August 18th. He spent most of the 2018 season on the DL and in the minors, pitching just 11.1 innings in 10 games with the Diamondbacks.
Delgado became a free agent on October 29, 2018. He signed a minor league contract with the Chicago White Sox on January 1, 2019, and he was released on March 20th. He signed a minor league contract with the New York Yankees on May 27th. He spent the 2019 season on the DL and in the minors.
Delgado elected free agency on November 4, 2019. He didn't play professional baseball in 2020.
Delgado played in the Dominican Winter League and the Caribbean Series in 2021.
