Ryan LaMarre, outfielder for the New York Yankees, was a top player in high school. In his senior year, he batted .548 with 18 home runs. He continued to excel as a player at the University of Michigan.

LaMarre was drafted by the Cincinnati Reds in 2010. He played in the Reds' minor league system from 2010 through 2015.

LaMarre joined the Reds for 21 games in 2015. He didn't fare well, however, batting just .080. He did much better in his 91 games in the minors, batting .257.

LaMarre became a free agent on December 2, 2015. Twelve days later, he signed a minor league contract with the Boston Red Sox. He spent most of the 2016 season back in the minors, playing in just five games with Boston before he was designated for assignment on July 7th.

LaMarre again became a free agent on November 7, 2016. He signed with the Los Angeles Angels on November 28th. The Angels designated him for assignment on April 18, 2017. He was traded to the Oakland Athletics on April 23rd. He spent most of the 2017 season in the minors, playing in just 3 games with the Athletics.

LaMarre signed a minor league contract with the Minnesota Twins on November 30, 2017. He was claimed off waivers by the Chicago White Sox on July 9, 2018. He pitched in 43 games with the Twins and 33 games with the White Sox and he finished the 2018 season with 46 hits and a .279 batting average. He also played in 25 games in the minors.

LaMarre became a free agent on November 2, 2018. He signed a minor league contract with the Atlanta Braves on November 19th. After playing in 112 games in the minors, he was traded to the Twins on September 8, 2019. He then played in 14 games with the Twins.

LaMarre became a free agent on October 29, 2019. He signed a minor league contract with the Tampa Bay Rays on January 13, 2020. He was released on July 18, 2020. He signed a minor league contract with the Chicago Cubs on July 23rd, and he was released on September 10th. He didn't play professional baseball in 2020.

LaMarre signed a minor league contract with the Yankees on December 12, 2020. He spent most of the 2021 season on the IL and in the minors. He played in just nine games with the Yankees.

LaMarre became a free agent on October 7, 2021. He signed a minor league contract with the Yankees on March 16, 2022.
