Ryan LaMarre, outfielder for the Minnesota Twins, was a top player in high school. In his senior year, he batted .548 with 18 home runs. He continued to excel as a player at the University of Michigan.

LaMarre was drafted by the Cincinnati Reds in 2010. He played in the Reds' minor league system from 2010 through 2015.

LaMarre joined the Reds for 21 games in 2015. He didn't fare well, however, batting just .080. He did much better in his 91 games in the minors, batting .257.

LaMarre became a free agent on December 2, 2015. Twelve days later, he signed a minor league contract with the Boston Red Sox. He spent most of the 2016 season back in the minors, playing in just five games with Boston before he was designated for assignment on July 7th.

LaMarre again became a free agent on November 7, 2016. He signed with the Los Angeles Angels on November 28th. The Angels designated him for assignment on April 18, 2017. He was traded to the Oakland Athletics on April 23rd. He spent most of the 2017 season in the minors, playing in just 3 games with the Athletics.

LaMarre signed a minor league contract with the Twins on November 30, 2017.
