Steve Hathaway, relief pitcher, was drafted by the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2013. He pitched in the Diamondbacks' minor league system from 2013 through 2015. He began as a starting pitcher in three games in 2013 but was moved to the bullpen in 2014.

Hathaway pitched in 24 games with the Diamondbacks in 2016. He had a 4.91 ERA in 14.2 innings. He also pitched in 41 games in the minors.

Hathaway spent the 2017 season on the DL. He spent the entire 2018 season on the DL.

Hathaway was released on March 15, 2019. He hasn't played professional baseball since 2018.
