Stuart Turner, catcher, was a top player at the University of Mississippi. In 2013, he won the Johnny Bench award as the best catcher in the NCAA division I. That year, he was drafted by the Minnesota Twins. He played in the Twins' minor league system from 2013 through 2016.

The Cincinnati Reds claimed Turner off waivers on December 8, 2016. He spent much of the 2017 season on the DL. In 37 games with the Reds, he had a .134 batting average.

Turner spent most of the 2018 season on the DL. He played in 30 games in the minors and in no games with the Reds.

Turner spent the 2019 season in the minors. He became a free agent on November 4, 2019. He hasn't played professional baseball since 2019.

Personal Life

Turner was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes when he was in seventh grade.
