Tommy Joseph, infielder, was a top player in high school. In 2009, he was named the Arizona High School Player of the Year.

Joseph was first drafted by the San Francisco Giants in 2009. He played in their minor league system in 2010 and 2011.

The Giants traded Joseph to the Philadelphia Phillies on July 31, 2012. He then continued in the minors through 2015.

In 2016, Joseph played in 107 games with the Phillies. He hit his first major league home run on May 17th. He finished the season with 81 hits, 15 doubles, 21 home runs, 47 RBIs, 75 strikeouts to 22 walks, and a .257 batting average. Defensively, as a first baseman in 97 games, he made 36 assists, 69 double plays, 612 putouts, and 7 errors and he had a fielding percentage of .989.

Joseph finished the 2017 season with 119 hits, 27 doubles, 22 home runs, 69 RBIs, 129 strikeouts to 33 walks, and a .240 batting average in 142 games. Defensively, as a first baseman in 130 games, he made 58 assists, 99 double plays, 948 putouts, and 8 errors.

The Texas Rangers claimed Joseph off waivers on March 19, 2018. He spent the 2018 season on the DL and in the minors.

Joseph became a free agent on October 2, 2018. He signed a minor league contract with the Boston Red Sox on August 5, 2019. He played in the minors and in the Korean Baseball Organization in 2019.

Joseph played with an independent league team and in the Dominican Winter League in 2020.

Joseph elected free agency on November 2, 2020. He didn't play professional baseball in 2021.
