Vicente Campos, relief pitcher for the Los Angeles Angels, was first signed by the Seattle Mariners in January, 2009. Three years later, he was traded to the New York Yankees in January, 2012. He pitched in the minor leagues as a starting pitcher from 2009 through most of 2016. He had Tommy John surgery in 2014 and missed the entire season.

Campos was traded to the Arizona Diamondbacks on July 31, 2016. He spent most of the 2016 season in the minors, pitching just 5.2 innings in one game with the Diamondbacks.

The Angels claimed Campos off waivers on November 4, 2016.
