Wandy Peralta, relief pitcher for the New York Yankees, first signed with the Cincinnati Reds on August 17, 2009. He pitched in their minor league system from 2010 through 2015. He was a starting pitcher in 2011 and 2014 and both a starter and a relief pitcher the rest of the seasons.

Peralta pitched in 10 games with the Reds in 2016. He had an 8.59 ERA in 7.1 innings. He also pitched 75.2 innings in 50 games in the minors.

Peralta finished the 2017 season with 3 wins and 4 losses, 57 strikeouts to 24 walks, and a 3.76 ERA in 64.2 innings in 69 games with the Reds.
