Warwick Saupold, relief pitcher, played professional baseball in Australia before signing a minor league contract with the Detroit Tigers in January, 2012. He pitched in the Tigers' minor league system from 2012 through 2015. He was primarily a relief pitcher in 2012, a starting pitcher only in 2013 and 2014, and both a starter and a reliever in 2015.

Saupold spent most of the 2016 season in the minors, pitching in just 6 games with the Tigers. He had a 7.45 ERA in 9.2 innings.

Saupold pitched in 45 games with the Tigers in 2017. He finished the season with 3 wins and 2 losses, 44 strikeouts to 31 walks, and a 4.88 ERA in 62.2 innings.

Saupold finished the 2018 season with 4 wins and 1 loss, 16 strikeouts to 13 walks, and a 4.46 ERA in 34.1 innings in 31 games. He also pitched 53.1 innings in 15 games in the minors.

Saupold became a free agent on November 2, 2018. He played in the Korean Baseball Organization in 2019 and 2020. He also played in the Australian Baseball League in 2020. He didn't play professional baseball in 2021.
