Wilmer Difo, infielder, was signed by the Washington Nationals on June 3, 2010. He played in their minor league system from 2010 through 2014.

Difo joined the Nationals for 15 games in 2015. He batted just .182. He spent the rest of the season in the minors.

Difo batted .276 with 16 hits in 31 games with the Nationals in 2016. He also played in 105 games in the regular season in the minors. In the postseason with the Nationals, he made the final out that eliminated the Nationals from further postseason play. He played in two games and he had no hits and one strikeout in two at-bats.
