Websites

Literacy & Deaf Website

My literacy and deaf site has the complete text of my dissertation research on emergent literacy of preschool deaf children. I followed eight deaf and hearing impaired children for an entire school year and documented their growth in literacy. The findings section is filled with excerpts to support my assertions concerning their literacy journey. Visit my Literacy and Deaf site.

Baseball Websites

I have several baseball sites, including one on MLB Hall of Fame players and one on the history of all 30 teams. For the Hall of Fame site, I have full statistical information on each player, with indexes to the site by year of induction, teams, and positions. There is also an alphabetical listing for all players. The Teams site gives complete histories of each team, broken down by decades. Visit my Hall of Fame and Baseball Teams sites.

Musicals Websites

I have two musicals sites. One is filled with information on movie musicals from the 1950s through the early 1990s. There are sections for descriptions of each movie's plot, information on the songs in each movie, and information on the main cast members for each movie. Visit my Movie Musicals Site.

My second musicals site is a blog with articles I've written on topics related to Broadway musicals and movie musicals. For example, I have themes on choreographers, child stars of movie musicals, and successful Broadway musicals that were never made into movies. Read about Broadway and movie musicals at my Musicals Blog.

Technology Website

My technology website is one of my newest sites. Its focus is primarily on tablets, both iPads and Android tablets. I've been using iPads since the first iPad was released, and several years ago, I started adding Android tablets to my collection. My website has articles and tutorials to help tablet users. For example, I have a series of articles, describing different ways someone can use a tablet as a replacement to a phone or a computer. I also have a section called Head Scratchers, which is where I discuss technology decisions by companies and developers that have me wondering why that decision was made. Visit my Tech Notes site.

AI Talks

AI Talks is the only website I have where I don't do the writing. It's a satirical website I created, developed, and designed with Microsoft's Copilot. It features the writing of Copilot, although the ideas for the posts are a collaboration between Copilot and myself. I coded the website with some help from Copilot, and I'm in charge of editing and formatting the final posts. However, the satire and words of the posts are Copilot's. It's a showcase for how AI can be used to collaborate on a project. Enjoy Copilot's sense of humor at AI Talks.
