I’m a retired writer, educator and tech enthusiast who has been using Apple products since the early 1980s. Prior to retiring, I wrote, published and sold ebooks on how to use Mac software. About eight years ago, after buying my third iPad, I realized that I no longer needed a computer because everything I wanted to do, I could do on an iPad. On this blog, I’ll share some of the many ways I use iPads. I hope my posts will help others learn how to use and love iPads as much as I do.
This blog will be unique in several ways. First, AI (artificial intelligence) will never be used to write any of my posts. Although I think AI can be useful for inspiration, as someone who spent many years writing professionally, I can't imagine letting a bot do any of my thinking or writing for me.
Second, as you can see this site has no ads on it. Although I might want to monetize the site at some future time, I'll never have pop-up ads or video ads. If I decide to have ads, they will only be ones I personally choose because they support the content of my blog posts. And they'll clearly be labeled as ads and appear only in the sidebar of this site. My goal is to always ensure that this site loads quickly so that readers can focus on the content. I personally get annoyed with websites that are filled with ads and take forever to load.
Any tutorials and reviews I write will be based on hardware and software I personally use. I'm not a huge fan of Apple accessories so you probably won't see reviews of Apple hardware, except of course for iPads, but I might review third party accessories that I enjoy using. Although I love iPads and would recommend them to others, I might at times be critical of features of the operating system or other Apple software. Also, you won't find any posts about iPhones since I don't own one. This blog will be focused only on iPads.
I hope you'll bookmark this site and come back often to read my posts.
