My Review:

The Region 2 DVD of "The Pajama Game" that I own has extremely low quality video and it looks more like an old video tape rather than a DVD. The colors in the factory and other indoor settings and in the evening settings are dull and dark. The sound quality of the DVD, however, is loud and clear.

The DVD is not in widescreen and it would be much better for the dance scenes, particularly the picnic scene, if it were in a widescreen ratio.

The story of "The Pajama Game" is a bit corny, but Bob Fosse's choreography is good. The "Steam Heat" number is very characteristic of Bob Fosse's work. Some numbers, particularly "There Once Was a Man," are clearly Broadway numbers and they don't translate well to film. It feels as if some of the songs are being sung directly to the audience, instead of to the other characters.
