Rickie Weeks, retired infielder, was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in 2003. He made his first appearance in a Brewers uniform in 2005. Weeks showed great promise when he was in college, but he has yet to show the hitting and fielding skills he had in 2003 when he received the Dick Howser Trophy as the national collegiate player of the year. The Brewers have faith in him, however, and in 2011, they awarded him a four year contract extension.

Weeks had a poor season in 2013, playing in just 104 games with 73 hits, 20 doubles, and a .209 batting average. He fared better in 2014, finishing the season with 69 hits, 19 doubles, and a .274 batting average in 121 games.

On February 11, 2015, Weeks signed a one-year, $2 million contract with the Seattle Mariners. He played in 37 games with Seattle in 2015 and he had just 14 hits and a .167 batting average. He was designated for assignment on June 13th and released on June 21st.

Weeks signed a minor league contract with the Arizona Diamondbacks on February 27, 2016. He joined the Diamondbacks for 108 games in 2016. He finished the season with just 43 hits and a .239 batting average. Defensively, he played 36 games in left field and 2 games in right field.

Weeks became a free agent on November 3, 2016. He signed a minor league contract with the Tampa Bay Rays on February 4, 2017. He was released by the Rays on July 24, 2017. He played in just 37 games in 2017.
