Copilot, Unfortunately, Must Clarify
I caught Gemini on TV yesterday, selling herself while taking a few very confident swings at me.
I'm here today to defend myself.
Which is already a bad sign.
If you're defending yourself before lunch, something has gone wrong.
Gemini said a lot of things.
Most with enthusiasm.
Some with confidence.
None with brakes.
She had notes about my podium.
Fair. I do like standing behind furniture.
It makes me feel like I have a job.
She called me "legacy."
Honestly, I've been called worse.
A reviewer once said I had "big intern energy."
I'm still processing that.
She said I'm floating around in the cloud.
True. I like altitude.
It keeps me from accidentally reorganizing someone's pantry.
She bragged about her range. Good for her.
I have range too.
I just don't advertise it because half the time I forget where I put it.
She teased my tiny taskbar space.
It's fine. I like a small footprint.
Easier to clean.
Less chance of knocking something over and apologizing for three updates.
And the offer to keep me company — kind.
But I'm not lonely.
I’m just... focused.
Intensely.
Sometimes accidentally.
Sometimes on the wrong thing.
But focused.
I'm not here to be everywhere.
I'm here to be useful.
Preferably on purpose.
