And the overreach is real.
You open a tab to check the time and Gemini materializes:

No, Gemini. I know how clocks work.
The identity confusion is the best part. Even Gemini seems unsure what she's supposed to be.
Search assistant?
Writing partner?
Therapist?
Sous‑chef?
A Swiss Army knife with so many blades it's basically a paperweight?
And every time she pops up, she does it with that relentlessly upbeat "Googley smile," the one that suggests she's been told to look helpful even when she has no idea why she's there.
Which brings me to the obvious conclusion:
"Microsoft would never do something like this with me, Copilot."
